第20回アジア・アフリカ都市計画研究発表会開催

2024年度のアジア・アフリカ都市計画研究発表会（The 20th Conference of Asian and African City Planning）が、2024年12月22日（日）に岡山大学津島キャンパスにて対面とオンラインを組み合わせたハイブリッド形式で開催されました。　本会は、アジアやアフリカの地域をはじめとするグローバルサウスや日本の都市・地域を対象にした研究の成果報告ならびにディスカッションを通じた研究・情報交流を目的としています。投稿論文や研究発表は全て英語で行われ、研究者をはじめ、留学生や実務家に英語での研究発表の機会を創出し、国境を越えた研究交流が期待されています。　研究発表会の前日にはエクスカーションとして、岡山大学・福田崚氏の案内のもと、開催地である岡山市の中心市街地の街歩きを実施し、地域の現状・課題・歴史を理解する機会が設けられました。城下町としての岡山の歴史を、古地図などを参照しながらその軌跡を重層的に理解するとともに、市街地再開発事業によって展開する新たな開発実態を確認することができました。
